A man was found dead in a Kilwinning park, with the death currently not being treated as suspicious.
Officers were called out after the man aged 43 was discovered in Almswall Park in the Blacklands at around 6.30pm last night [Tuesday].
Police confirmed a report would be sent to the Procurator Fiscal with officers not believing the death to be suspicious.
A Police spokesperson said: “At around 6.35pm on Tuesday, April 13, the body of a 43-year-old man was found in Almswell Park, Nethermains Road, Kilwinning.
“A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course however the death is not currently being treated as suspicious.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
