THE family of the late Shirley Morgan, of Stevenston, who sadly died in May, have thanked her many friends, colleagues and members of the the community for their support.
They told the Herald: “The Cochrane family would like to sincerely thank all our relatives, friends and neighbours for their support and sympathy during the tragic loss of ‘Our Shirley’, the irreplaceable mum to Jamie and Kelly.
“Also sincere thanks to Rev Scott Cameron for his support and spiritual comfort, AW Blair and Sons for funeral arrangements, Clyde Coast and Garnock Crematorium, all Shirley’s colleagues at North Ayrshire Council and local councillors, Hayocks and Ardeer community centres for catering provided, the police for their sympathetic assistance and Christine at Roadside Flower Shop for the beautiful flower tributes provided.”
The family continued: “Thank you to everyone who attended the High Kirk and crematorium to celebrate the remarkable life of Shirley.
“It has given us such comfort to know that she was loved by so many.
“What a send off! She would be so chuffed.”
The family concluded: “Rest in peace now Shirley, till we meet again.”
