JAMIE LEE SMITH is this year"s proud Saltcoats Queen of the Sea and doesn"t she wear her crown well?

The spectacular annual event took place on Saturday and Jamie Lee did everyone proud and so did her Royal party.

Festivites lasted all day with a parade, including some brilliant floats, pictured above, a flute band, also pictured, and some wild rides!

Above right the crowd take in the colourful sites while Jamie Lee is presented her crown by former Sea Queen Rachel McGivern.

Hundreds of people arrived to see the crowning of the Queen and to play in the fun fair!

The popular event was well attended and next year is already being looked forward too!
