MYSTERY OVER DOUBLE BLAZE

POLICE and fire services have launched a joint investigation after two blazes broke out in Saltcoats within 30 minutes - and less than half a mile away from each other.

A fire broke out at a house in Ardrossan Road at 1.26am on Tuesday morning (yesterday) followed by another in Hamilton Street at 2.05am.

There are now fears that the incidents may be linked.
