Rescue teams searching for a walker who went missing on Thursday have found the body of a man in the Cir Mhor area of Arran.
The body has since been identified as that of missing man David Randle.
Seventy-three-year old Mr Randle, who was believed to be a visitor from England, set off from the Glen Rosa campsite in Brodick around 1.45pm on Thursday.
When he didn't return that evening, his wife contacted police.
A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death, however, police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
David's family thank everyone involved in the search.
