CHAMPIONS BEITH JUNIORS stole a march on their rivals this week as they completed the signing of highly-rated stopper Joe Carruth - just days after winning the first honour of the pre-season, the East Kilbride Tournament.

Boss John Millar is delighted to secure the services of the Junior Scotland international from Stagecoach Super League Premier Division rivals Pollok, with the 31-year-old attracting interest from a host of other clubs.
