Claims OAP was 'marched to cash machine'

THE police are calling on the public to step up the protection of elderly and vulnerable people after an 85-year-old woman was allegedly targeted by fraudsters.

Two men went to the woman"s door in Beith on Wednesday morning and informed her that her roof needed repaired, officers claimed.
