Tragic Beith fire claims man's life

A 55-YEAR-OLD man has died following a fire at his home in Beith on Saturday.

Emergency services were called at around ten to eleven following reports of a fire at a flat in the town's Muirpark Road.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze and discovered the body of the man in the property.
