A £150k refurbishment to accommodate a busy programme of activities at the George Steven Centre in Kilbirnie is now complete.
Two new rooms have been added to the Salvation Army facility which caters for adults with learning disabilities and have been named Speirs and Ryeside by its users.
Other parts of the development included upgrading the kitchen area which has now been turned into a cafe.
Keri McKeand from the Centre said: "Feedback from everyone has been very positive. They have said it enhances the outlook and service provision of the centre and offers more opportunities to whose who use it."
