"WHAT I need is support from the community."

That is the message from Dalry resident Sandra Scott who is campaigning to have a community minibus for the town after North Ayrshire Council decided to withdraw the Community Minibus Hire scheme.

Sandra told the Herald: "The council plan to withdraw the scheme in July which will leave local groups without a means of transport to get anywhere.

"I am currently trying to persuade NAC to sell one of the minibuses to Dalry but to do so I believe I need the support of everyone from the community."

To find out how you can give your support see this week's Herald.
