A SERIES of dawn raids took place across Ayrshire last week - and have proved so successful police are warning criminals other crackdowns are on their way.
Operation Impact saw over 125 police officers searching properties for drugs in 18 wards across Ayrshire.
And the first raid took place at Barr Street in Ardrossan on Thursday, where a 36-year-old was arrested and reported to the Procurator Fiscal for offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
In total £43,000 in cash was seized and £10,000 worth of drugs. Weapons were also recovered including two air rifles, three samurai swords, a machine gun magazine and a machete.
