AYRSHIRE band Decoy shone at this year"s Battle of the Bands held in the Civic Centre in Ardrossan and picked up a once in a lifetime prize.
The five-piece competed against some of Ayrshire"s top groups such as Paper Few, Local Tour Guide and 60 Person to win the chance of playing live in London with The Cams.
All five acts had to play a short set of their best tunes and were judged by a selected panel of music enthusiasts.
Now the lads; Chris Gough (vocals and guitar), Cat Calton (vocals and violin), Iain Paton (bass), Euan Robertson (guitar) and Ross Finlayson (drums), will be supporting the huge act on July 4.
And all their fans will be delighted to know that they will be able to go along and watch the show.
The group said: 'There is a bus running from Saltcoats if any of our fans would like to come along and support us. There may be limited seats so anyone interested should contact as soon as possible.'
