SHUNNED by the Tories after his views were criticised by a gay rights group, Philip Lardner was sensationally kicked out by his Party this week - and has been suspended as a teacher.

Speaking exclusively to the Herald, after learning of his suspension by Renfrewshire Council, Mr Lardner said he fears he may now be the victim of a whitch-hunt designed to force him out of the job he loves.

He said: "I received threatening emails from gay groups last night and I now feel they are out to get me."
