Annual festival is a great success
ORGANISERS have said that the Kilwinning Carnival was back to its best as it made a lively return to the Main Street on Saturday.
For the past two years the event has made way for the transformation of the town centre - but this year's celebrations saw the traditional festival welcomed back to its tradiitonal home in the town.
The crowning of Segdoune Queen Karah Murphy was the highlight of a packed day.
