WE WANT OUR WARDENS BACK

A PETITION aimed at restoring the wardens service in North Ayrshire met with support in Kilwinning last week.

Campaigners collected signatures for the petition in the town's Main Street as part of an attempt to force the reintroduction of wardens to sheltered housing complexes.

Kilwinning SNP Councillor John Ferguson said the response to the petition was 'superb'.
