"QUITE simply the biggest game in our history" was how IRVINE MEADOW boss Chris Strain chose to describe his team's jackpot Active Nation Scottish Cup Fourth Round clash with Hibernian at Easter Road which was earned after an unforgettable weekend.
Giant-killers Meadow cut Barr's Irn-Bru Scottish Division Two strugglers Arbroath down to size, defeating them 1-0 in a Third Round tie at Meadow Park on Saturday, to set up a classic David v Goliath clash in Leith on January 9.
It will the first time an SPL side face a Junior team for the first time in the competition's history and guarantees a bumper pay day for the club to considerably ease their well-documented financial problems.
