A sad discovery

THE body of a 43-year-old man was discovered on South Beach on Friday morning.

Gordon Scott, of Glasgow Street, Ardrossan apparently died from drowning and there were no suspicious circumstances, police said.

Mr Scott's body was found at 10.30am by a woman walking her dogs on the beach.
