Forty-two people arrested in connection with illegal substances.

Police in Ayrshire hit organised crime where it hurts - after seizing £360,000-worth of drugs.

Forty-two people in North Ayrshire have been charged with offences as a result.

Information from the public helped police officers disrupt the distribution of drugs in the county and glean further intelligence on dealers and supplies.

The third phase of Operation Impact saw several notable recoveries, including 11.5kg of amphetamine with a street value of £115,000.
