Seniors' big fundraiser
The big-hearted senior pupils at Garnock Academy in liaison with the PT Department, are organising another 5K charity fun run. The 2009 event which started in Vale Park, Kilbirnie and covered a route around Garnock Rugby Club fields, was an outstanding success with over 500 fun-runners taking part and raising cash for charity. This year they hope the event will be even more successful. The event takes place on Wednesday, April 28 and Garnock Academy are delighted that DSM (Dalry) have kindly sponsored the event. More details to follow so watch this space, but in the meantime get on those running shoes in preparation for the big Garnock Fun Run on April 28!
