Daylight robbery in Stevenston

A 57-year-old woman has had her handbag snatched while walking down a street in broad daylight.

The woman was left distressed after her bag was grabbed in New Street, Stevenston at 9.30am last Monday. It contained cash and credit cards.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
