An interesting find

ARCHEOLOGISTS overseeing the installation of new lightening conductors at Brodick Castle have struck lucky.

The team has found two fragments of green-glazed medieval pottery - one of which probably dates to 13th or 14th century - in a series of trenches dug to earth the new system.
