'Weapon terror'

A CONCERNED eyewitness called the police after seeing a man armed with a saw and an axe in Ardrossan's Winton Street, it was claimed this week.

And following an incident at a property there soon afterwards, where it is alleged a police officer was attacked with a knife, two men and a 53-year-old woman from the town are now facing a total of 13 charges.
