A WOMAN who jumped into a burn in Stevenston last Monday morning has escaped with only minor injuries.

Emergency services were tasked to the town's Main Street after reports of someone trapped in the water.

On-lookers had watched in awe as the lady ran across the busy road and jump straight into the burn just after nine on Monday.
