HOLDERS Meadow toppled the Stagecoach Ayrshire District League champions to power into their fourth Times final in five years and but for an heroic performance from ex-Saltcoats Vics keeper David Markey would have won much more convincingly.

However they did survive a couple of hair-raising moments before ultimately sealing victory and setting up a mouthwatering clash with Kilbirnie Ladeside at Glasgow's Newlandsfield Park on Saturday.
