Un-bee-lievable scenes in Ardrossan!

WHAT seems to be a summer 'flitting' by a queen and the swarm led to some un-bee-lievable scenes in Ardrossan last weekend.

Householders Mary and Tom Wallace of Cente4nary Place noticed the uninvited guests in their garden on Saturday afternoon.

The bees were eventually rounded up by Kilmarnock-based beekepers Ian Stirling and daughter Kirsty.
