'Time to make Saltcoats seafront a 20mph zone'

SALTCOATS seafront should have a 20mph speed limit, according to a concerned resident.

A Winton Circus man is calling for the limit to be reduced from 30 to 20 miles per hour after witnessing several incidents where young families and elderly people have been almost knocked down.

He told the Herald: "I have seen many people try to cross over at Winton Circus to use the toilets but the traffic is moving far too fast for anybody's safety."
