A SALTCOATS woman who suffers from cerebral palsy and was told she 'would never amount to anything' has just graduated from university.

Dawn Wyndham (pictured right) is celebrating after obtaining a BA (Hons) in Social Sciences from Glasgow Caledonian University - but her time there wasn't easy.

Travelling to Glasgow from her home in High Road in a wheelchair every day for four years to attend classes just showed the 37-year-old's determination to achieve this qualification.
