Woman rescued from fire in Saltcoats house

A WOMAN had to be rescued from a house in Saltcoats in the early hours of Monday morning after a blaze broke out.

Strathclyde Fire and Rescue received reports of a fire in a house in Argyll Road at 5.05am.

When they arrived they removed a 37-year-old female who was suffering from smoke inhalation from the premises.
