VANDALS have struck again in a public park in Beith already highlighted as a hot-spot for anti-social behaviour.

Damage was done to the metal gazebo seating area in Orr Public Park in the early hours of Sunday, July 4 after troublemakers set fire to rubbish and piles of wood, burning the paint off the seating area.

Ironically, the seating area was designed specifically for teenagers to meet in following a local group's campaign for funding to improve the park for youngsters.
