AN eyewitness contacted police after reportedly seeing two teenagers emerge from an Ardrossan house with around £3000 worth of goods.
A boy of 15 and an 18-year-old from the town were reported following the incident at 5.25pm on Friday, a spokesman said this week.
"The witness, who had seen both accused enter the rear garden of the property in Ashgrove Road, then saw them re-emerge," the police claimed.
"One was carrying a black box and the other had a number of items. The police were contacted and, while the witness was waiting for them to arrive, it is alleged the pair were then seen to return to the house and again emerge from the back garden, apparently concealing items down their trousers."
