New 'one stop' sex health clinic opens

A SEXUAL health clinic offering HIV testing and emergency contraception has been built in North Ayrshire.

The building, on the grounds of Ayrshire Central Hospital in Irvine, is dubbed 'the Gatehouse', and has opened its doors so that patients can "benefit from a full sexual health service".

Services on-site will include a daily drop-in clinic for contraception and tests for sexually transmitted infections.
