'Murder' charge

A SALTCOATS teenager has appeared in court charged with the murder of Scott Margery.

Keiran Davidson, 16, made no plea or declaration when he appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday, July 26. He was remanded in custody.

Mr Margery, who had family connections in both Ardrossan and Stevenston, was found dying in a phone box by a passing motorist in the early hours of Sunday, July 18.
