Malnutrition 'killed' 11 Ayrshire people in 2009

MALNUTRITION contributed to the deaths of ELEVEN people in Ayrshire last year, shock figures have revealed.

And over the five years, lack of proper nutrition was a factor in the deaths of 47 local people.

Now MSP John Scott is renewing his call that more health visitors are needed to help tackle the problem.
