Rachael on her way to fame and fortune

AN Ardrossan teenager is on the road to fame and fortune, having been accepted to dance at a renowned London school of dance.

Rachael Lamberton (17) completed a six year stint at the Dance School of Scotland - part of Glasgow’s Knightswood Secondary School - this summer and saw her dreams come true when she was accepted into the London Studio Centre where she will work towards a BA (Hons) degree in Theatre Dance.

Living in residence Monday to Friday and coming home at weekends, Rachael has become accustomed to a busy schedule over the last few years at the Dance School of Scotland - the nation’s only centre of excellence for vocational dance and musical theatre - developing as a dancer and peformer as well as securing three SQA Highers and fitting in extra dance practice in preparation for dance school auditions.
