Paramedic assault rap

A PARAMEDIC and a police officer were punched and kicked by a drunk woman during an incident in Saltcoats town centre at the weekend, it was reported.

Saltcoats police said on Monday that at around 9pm on Saturday, an ambulance and crew were alerted and went to the aid of a 33-year-old Saltcoats woman in Dockhead Street. She had been injured and was bleeding from a cut to the back of her head.
