Your NHS hero?

NHS Ayrshire & Arran are calling for extra special members of staff to be nominated for an award.

Ayrshire Achieves 2010 is now in its second year and celebrates staff - whether they are a doctor, a volunteer, work on a ward, or behind a desk - who have gone the extra mile to improve the lives of their patients.

Dr Wai-yin Hatton, Chief Executive of NHS Ayrshire & Arran commented: “Following the success of last year’s awards, we are now welcoming nominations for Ayrshire Achieves 2010. Last year, we got to hear of many wonderful people, projects and plans - all making a real difference to the lives of people within Ayrshire and Arran."
