Dalry in job boost

A WELL established Dalry food distribution firm have recently moved to a larger premises, investing £2.4m in the business and managing to secure 32 jobs locally with the hopes of even more jobs in the future.

Seemingly defying the recent recession, Reids Foods Services have been in Dalry for 35 years now supplying hotels, caterers, restaurants and shops across West and Central Scotland with fresh, frozen and non-perishable foods. Having operated for many years from their James Street depot, in the middle of a residential area, the firm moved to a new purpose-built depot at Dalry's Bridgend Industrial Estate six weeks ago, having simply outgrown the capabilities of their former site.
