Strange sight reported in Beith skies

A BEITH man has spotted a strange object in the skies over Barberry Drive.

The possible UFO was spotted by Hugh McMeechan (73) on Saturday evening hovering above his house before darting off across the sky.

It then appeared to return momentarily to its orignial position before spectacularly shooting straight up into the sky and disappearing.
