Son's mammoth cycle fundraiser in memory of mum

THE son of a late Saltcoats woman has raised over £1500 for charity by cycling an incredible 210 miles from Saltcoats to Blackpool - and all in one day.

Having only starting cycling in January, Blackpool man Robert Parker (40) decided to undertake the sponsored cycle to raise cash for the hospice who cared for his mother Alice Parker who passed away in December of last year, having being born and brought up in Saltcoats.
