Arrests made after spate of Three Towns break-ins

EIGHT people have been arrested after a spate of recent house breakings in the Three Towns and Kilwinning, according to police.

Inspector Brian Skimming from Saltcoats Police explained that, after North Ayrshire councillors from the Three Towns and Arran raised concerns about the issue, police established an Action Plan which saw involvement from both CID and uniformed officers.
