Demolished church ground now wasteland

HOMEOWNERS in Corrie Crescent in Saltcoats have voiced their concerns this week about an unsightly patch of land that has been left abandoned following the demolition of a church.

St Brendan's RC Church in Corrie Crescent was knocked down some time ago and, since then, the Catholic Church - who still own the land - have apparently left it to become overgown with weeds, some of which are now several feet high.
