SOCIAL HOUSING PROJECT FOR LAMLASH

A SOCIAL housing project delivering 56 affordable homes at Benlister South, Lamlash has been saved following an intervention by North Ayrshire Council.
The Council stepped in when Trust Housing Association withdrew from the project. The Association decided the project was no longer viable for their organisation following the an announcement on Government funding.
Rapid intervention was needed or Arran would lose both substantial inward investment and the opportunity to deliver much-needed affordable housing.
