WAVERLEY ARRIVES IN ARDROSSAN!

MORE than 670 people set sail from Ardrossan recently for a special cruise on the Waverley - for the first time since 1989.

The cruise was in aid of the Vine Trust Charity and a large crowd of onlookers gathered to watch as the Waverley steamed her way into Ardrossan Harbour.

Passengers enjoyed a trip to Millport before they headed to Rothesay Bay.

A whopping £4,500 was raised for the charity, £4,200 of which was presented on the night.
