NOT content with several hit songs and the release of their new album, Young Celts, the MacDonald Brothers are also looking to set a new world record.

The attempt at entering the Guinness Book of World Records will see the Scottish duo performing over 50 live performances and in-store CD signings at different stores across Scotland during the week.

It is thought that such a venture has never been successfully completed before. The impressive feat coincides with the launch of their hotly anticipated album, and it is hoped that the tiring journey through every Scottish city and major town will gain them a coveted place in the world famous record book.

Check out this week's Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald for pictures of the live performance.
