Saltcoats man tours country in popular play

A SALTCOATS man has his name in lights after landing a part in a sell-out play.

James Miller is showing off his acting skills in "Singin" I"m No A Billy He"s A Tim" - a successful play written by Des Dillon.

The 37-year-old is currently touring all over the county acting out his part as the turnkey and is having a fantastic time.

He said: 'The initial reaction has been fantastic everywhere we"ve been. It"s been a fantastic learning curve.'

The play is about Billy (played by Scott Kyle) who is a die-hard Rangers fan and Tim (played by Colin Little) who is a faithful Celtic supporter.

The two footie-mad men end up locked up together on the day of the Old Firm match and it"s up to Harry (played by James) the ever watchful turnkey to keep them apart.
