KRIS HAS GOT TALENT

A seven-year-old Saltcoats boy has made it through to the final of a talent contest after a recent audition in Glasgow.

Kris McDowall, who taught himself to play guitar, went along to the Scottish auditions for a new national talent competition called Open Mike UK and wowed judges with his version of La Bamba.

Kris recently received a new guitar for his birthday from his grandparents who are absolutely delighted he has made it through.
