Double swimming success for Ardrossan brothers

ARDROSSAN Academy pupils Jordan and Ross Hughes recently competed in the Scottish Schools' Swimming Championships at Tollcross, Glasgow.

Completing a rare siblings' double-win, 12-year-old Ross of first year won the 50m Butterfly in a time of 32:27 while big brother Joran (aged 13, and a second year pupil) competed in the 13-14 year olds age group taking the 100m Freestyle with a new Scottish School Championship record time of 56:40.
