NEARLY £5000 will go to five community groups within North Ayrshire which will benefit youths in Stevenston, artists in Kilwinning and a recycling facility in Ardrossan.

The Voluntary Action Fund, one of Scotland's leading independent grant-making bodies investing in small voluntary and community-based organisations, were delighted to announce the latest round of funding which will see groups take a share of £4,050 to help their activities.

The Recycling Enterprise North Ayrshire Ltd (RENA) which collects and redistributes recycled household goods to those in need will be one of the groups benefit from the cash boost.
