Makeover on way for marina?

THE Clyde Marina in Ardrossan is set to more than DOUBLE in size.

News that 165 new berths are planned, rising to 500 over time, emerged as senior Minister Alex Neil visited the site on Monday.

If the expansion goes ahead Ardrossan could benefit from a major economic boost - with hundreds more homes already set for the vacant site.
