Regeneration plans have been revealed

A £9M joint venture to further transform Clyde Marina at Ardrossan has been agreed between owners Peel Holdings and Irvine Bay Regeneration Company.

Highlights of the proposal include a total of 30 acres of the former Shell oil refinery land in the heart of the town being cleaned up and redeveloped, more than 400 new homes and 4000 square metres of offices created, along with a restaurant and a care home, the creation of new public open space and a first phase of 165 new boat berths at the marina, leading to the eventual additional number of four to six hundred we revealed last week.
